What to Expect

  • Not known to be hazardous to plants

  • Control of pests on treated plants will last up to 2 weeks
  • May cause tingling/numbness (paraesthesia) if exposed areas are contacted
  • The effect is transient and may last up to 24 hours

Resolva Bug Killer contains Lambda-cyhalothrin. Use plant protection products safely. Always read the label and product information before use.

When to Use

  • Resolva Bug Killer Concentrate can be used all year-round. For best results treat when infestation or symptoms are first seen. For pea moth where there is a history of damage from this pest, apply during flowering
  • For carrot fly apply to control adult flies after emergence and before eggs are laid
  • For whiteflies, scale insects, mealybugs and thrips repeat applications may be required; 1-2 applications should be made at intervals of 7-21 days (except in tree crops where only 1 application is permitted)
  • Do not use more than 2 applications per infestation or per crop.

Where to Use

  • Resolva Bug Killer Concentrate controls aphids (greenfly and blackfly), beetles, bugs (lygus), blossom weevils, capsids, caterpillars, cutworms, cabbage stem weevil, clay-coloured weevil, carrot fly, leaf-curling midges, leaf beetles (including rosemary beetle and lily beetle), pea midge, pea moth, pea and bean weevil, pear sucker, sawflies, scale insects, thrips and whitefly
  • Resolva Bug Killer Concentrate also gives a reduction in the numbers of mealybugs

How to Use

  • Not known to be hazardous to plants
  • No sensitive plant species or varieties are known
  • For best results spray plants during the late afternoon or early evening
  • Avoid spraying in direct sunlight or when plants are under stress e.g. from drought, frost, heat or over watering. Before treating exotic plants or large areas of the same plant species, undertake a test for damage on one plant and observe for effects over a 10-day period
  • Shake well before use
  • To make up 1 litre of spray solution: Unscrew the measuring cap off the bottle and pour 20ml of the concentrate into the pressure sprayer, add one litre of water and mix thoroughly
  • Spray infested plants until visibly wet, but before spray runs off the leaf
  • Spray both the upper and lower leaf surface

For the following pests use these spray volumes; Whitefly 300ml – 666ml per 10 sq.m; Pear Sucker 300ml – 600ml per 10 sq.m; Carrot Fly 1000ml per 10 sq.m. For all other pests use 300ml – 500ml per 10 sq.m. Wash out equipment thoroughly after use.

Not recommended for control of whitefly on cucumbers and courgettes. Pesticide resistance in glasshouse whitefly, pear sucker and some aphids is widespread. Where resistant pests are present this product is unlikely to give control. Keep children and pets away from treated area until the spray has dried. May cause tingling/numbness (paraesthesia) if exposed areas are contacted. The effect is transient and may last up to 24 hours.

WARNING: Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Dangerous to bees
